Heavy duty wall mount battery backed power supply units which incorporate either 55W or 155W switched mode
power supply modules which provide a regulated DC output plus a separate trickle charger connection to the VRLA
battery. During normal working the battery is kept fully charged, in the event of AC power failure the DC output is
automatically maintained by the battery. Under AC power the PSU provides overload and overvoltage protection with
automatic recovery when the fault condition is cleared.
